A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 14th, with New Hampshires's new Commissioner of Transportation, George Campbell.
This is Commissioner Campbell's first visit to the Upper Valley, and a great opportunity for Dartmouth employees and other community members to talk about transportation and commuting issues in the Upper Valley. Commissioner Campbell has an extensive work experience in the public sector (see here for more information about his bio).
The meeting will be held from 4-6pm in the Lebanon Senior Center (10 Campbell Street, Lebanon, NH...click here for a map).
Hope to see you there.
It is time for George Campbell to resign. Proposing a toll on route 93 is just plain stupid. The purpose of widening the highway is to expidite traffic flow for emergency, energy conservation and ease of commuting and a toll will reverse the affect of the widening. He has demonstrated in a very short amount of time that he does not understand traffic flow and should not be in the position he is in. After his resignation, Governor Lynch should resign for USING his transportation commissioner for the purpose of raising revenue. What next Governor Lynch? Will you use to State Police to raise revenue by hiding in the bushes and giving out tickets like Governor Dukakis of Massachusetts?
